The Griffith Trio is delighted to present Beethoven’s six piano trios within the 2011 subscription series. From his first three trios Opus 1, through famous works such as the “Ghost” trio, and culminating in the glorious “Archduke” trio, the series offers Brisbane music lovers the opportunity to appreciate his extraordinary contribution to the genre through these landmark works of chamber music.

      Brahms    Piano Quintet Opus 34 in F minor

With guest artists Graeme Jennings (violin) and Yoko Okayasu (viola)

Tickets for the Griffith Trio Series can be pre-purchased through qtix (booking fees may apply) or purchased on the night of each performance from the Queensland Conservatorium Box Office, subject to availability.

Season Tickets

Purchase a season ticket to the Griffith Trio’s 2011 series and you will receive a substantial saving. Your purchase for $110 includes:

  • Admission for two people to each concert (valued at $212)
  • Invitation to each post-concert reception

Subscription to all four concerts for two people are available through Qtix at a cost of $110 (booking fee applies if booked by phone or via Qtix website). Subscriptions close Thursday 10 March, 2011, at 8:00pm.
